HAPPY BIRTHDAY DR.ROBERTO!!!!!!!!

Today is the 77th birthday of a great Man. His commitment to a life of service and to the Lord is an incredible thing to look up to. His patience, grace, kindness and love are unmeasurable. I pray that the Lord may one day give me a husband that will be even half of who Dr.Roberto is. Often times, I have looked upon him as a father figure and have thought how blessed his wife and children are to have him. He is a Godly Man... a Man of strong faith..... a Man of beautiful integrity. Have a blessed Bday Dr.Roberto!! I admire and love you.

OUR MISSION - HIS GLORY

God is a God of missions. He wills missions. He commands missions. He demands missions. "Cover to cover, the Bible is a missionary story. God is about the business of “reconciling the world to Himself” (2 Cor 5:19). Christ’s closing charge—to go and make disciples (Matt 28:18–20). The clarion call to reach the world is fueled and driven by this mandate from the greatest missionary of all time— One who was sent by His Father to open the door of reconciliation to “whoever will call on the name of the Lord” (Rom 10:13). In some respects, never in the history of mankind has this charge been easier to carry out."

"The gospel belongs to every one in every culture; it belongs to no one in any one culture in particular" (Mark Noll) It seems to me that some of us functionally think of ourselves as American Christians. Any counsel on how to avoid this error?
